Better Than I Expected!June 17, 2010 Alisa Polk I do animal rescue, I frequently have animals come in who have accidents. My foster kittens tend to 'paw paint' with their used kitty litter. I also have fostered animals with highly communicable diseases. I have several cleaning tool that use harsh chemicals and never seem to get the job done. I want a cleaning tool that is easy to use, very effective and is safe for the environment.
I am very impressed with the Haan steam cleaning system. The upright is easy to use and very quick to warm up. For extra tough spots I find I can leave the upright over the spot and the steam works through the spot without harming my floor. I didn't have high hopes for the hand held and I am shocked at how well it works. It cuts through grime I couldn't get any cleaner to remove. It also cleans the grout very well, I was amazed when the grout seemed to change color because all of the dirt had come out. Both products are almost silent which is very good when you have animals scared of the vacuum.
I think this product is excellent for anyone with animals or kids!

The steam mop works great but does leave white marks on wood floors so I use a top shine coat was and then it looks great. I love the handheld personal steamer works great on everything.
The jury is still outMay 30, 2010 JP I waited a long time to buy this product. I can't afford to make too many mistakes in my purchases, so I try to choose things wisely. I bought it because I figured it would reduce the number of household chemicals I have to use, and with the cost of those chemicals I figured it wouldn't take long before the steam cleaner had paid for itself.
I read through the instructions and decided to use it first in my shower. I filled it with the approximately 3/4 cup of water and set out to have my shower cleaner than it's ever been. I got through approximately 3/4 of the back wall of my shower and already I was out of steam. I then had to unplug it and wait at least 3 minutes before I could refill it and wait another few minutes before I could start again. To completely finish my shower, I had to unplug, wait, and refill a total of 9 times to clean all the walls and the tub itself. By this point, I just wasn't up for testing it anyplace else in my house.
The Haan does seem to be made well, and I am going to keep it because I do want to use it on my mattress, furniture, etc. But for regular cleaning, I'm just not sure it's worth all the effort of filling, waiting, and refilling - over and over again.
Maybe after I work with it a while, it will get better. So many people have given it 5 stars that I was sure this was the product for me. Now I'm not so sure. That's why I say the jury is still out on this one for me.
glad I purchaseditMay 18, 2010 Dawn M. Hudson The hand-held steamer cleans great but it does run out of steam too fast, but I would recommend it. The upright steamer doesn't clean as well as I thought, although it does leave a nice finish. I am satisfied with this purchase
Great cleaning machine....I wish I had purchased it earlier.May 2, 2010 Burak Tanriover(greenbelt, MD) I totally loved this product. It is compact, efficient and an unbelievable cleaner. I used it on my windows which were really badly soiled with smoke. It was squeaky clean after I used this little machine.. It would take me at least three times longer if I would use any window cleaning chemicals. I used the floor one on the bathroom tiles (wall and floor). It did a great job on both. I used it to sanitize my chair. The steam is hot enough to kill all the germs. You have to be careful though while using, you can get burnt:)
I would definitely recommend this product. I would not believe if I didn't see with my own eyes.
